Programme
Your 34-HOUR schedule!
Your time is precious. We are therefore going to provide you with an exceedingly compact and efficient timetable. We are even going to pack some items into the night hours for those of you who have no choice but to surrender to the realities of jet lag!
What’s more, and we hope you will agree, business does not have to be boring so we are going to make your time at Geneva’s BioSquare truly enjoyable (expect both entertainment and well-being).
Early arrival programme
The event starts Monday, but we know from experience that some attendees start arriving on the Friday. You will not feel abandoned if you do.
We have prepared optional weekend activities for those who wish to enjoy Geneva’s alpine treasures. Among the activities, Saturday and/or Sunday skiing, a Saturday night out in Geneva for a traditional cheese dinner in the old city, a guided tour of the United Nations and a humour-filled pre-networking dinner on Sunday night. Feel free to bring along your significant other.
Monday programme
Breakfast and registration start at 7.30AM. For those in a hurry to meet, one-to-one meetings begin at 8AM. In parallel, the conference track will introduce you to new opportunities. Notable guest speakers will give you winning ideas. Two round tables at the very beginning of the track will allow selected participants to exchange on best practices and network. Lunches, cocktails, an amazing networking dinner and much more will keep you busy right until bedtime.
Night owl programme
For those who can’t sleep, our VIP lounge will be open all night. Beyond healthy snacks and drinks, our BioSquare Media Channel will inform you with a variety of bioconvergence related content. Compulsive jetlaggers can even set up night meetings.
Tuesday programme
Tuesday is similar to Monday — one-to-ones, conferences and networking time — with the addition of portfolio strategies presentations. The afternoon will offer a unique opportunity to meet bio/med/nano associations and regions of excellence worldwide. Instead of closing with a whimper, BioSquare 2010 is saving one of its best moments for last.
